王三根,男,汉族,浙江上虞人。教授,博士生导师。主要研究方向为植物生理生化;作物抗性生理与分子生物学。曾获四川省做出突出贡献的中国硕士学位获得者,农业部教书育人先进教师,农业部有突出贡献的中青年专家,获得国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴,重庆市首届名师,重庆市教书育人楷模,中国植物生理与植物分子生物学学会理事,重庆市植物学会副理事长,重庆市生物化学与分子生物学学会理事,重庆市作物学会理事等。

1974春,重庆市第十六中学高中毕业后,上山下乡到四川省蓬安县河舒区柳树公社,其间参加蓬安县马回电站建设近两年;1977底参加高考,重庆师范学院生物系77级,19821,本科毕业,学士;1984,12,西南农业大学植物生理生化研究生毕业,硕士;199010,农业部华中农业大学外语培训中心结业,获证书The Bell Educational Trust19948,德国Hohenheim UniversityCentre for Agriculture in the Tropics and Subtropics交流学习, Postgraduate Course 证书。1985,1至今在西南(农业)大学从事植物生理生化教学与科研工作。

先后主持与参加国家自然科学基金、国际合作项目、973计划、863计划、省部级研究项目等40多项,国内外刊物上发表论文200余篇,国家专利10多项。在植物抗逆性的生理生化与分子机理,作物生理生化与栽培,植物综合开发利用,作物品质改良与抗性育种及化学物质的协同调控作用等方面研究均有重要成果。承担农业部、省市各种教改项目10余项。九五以来主编和副主编全国普通高等院校规划教材及专著等20多本。曾获省部级各类奖励10多次。重庆市植物生理生物化学团队带头人。指导培养博士10多名、硕士40多名。先后到泰国Chiang Mai University、德国Hohenheim University、美国St.Louis等参加科研和学术交流活动。
