何光华,教授,博士,博士生导师。国家级和市级人才。科技部创新人才推进计划重点领域创新团队首席科学家、重庆市先进工作者、重庆市教书育人楷模、重庆市教书育人奖、重庆市学术带头人、重庆市优秀教师、重庆市青年科技奖、重庆市动植物良种创新先进工作者。重庆市农作物品种审定委员会委员和水稻专业委员会主任、重庆市水稻产业技术体系创新团队首席专家。1994、1997、2001年分别破格晋升助理研究员、副研究员、教授。主持国家自然科学基金(重点)、863、支撑计划、行业专项、省部级等科研项目40余项,主研项目30余项;获得省(市)部级一等奖4项、二等奖1项、三等奖4项;获得国家发明专利和植物新品种权33项,选育品种45个,在国内外刊物上发表学术论文300余篇。
